资源简介:
This dataset refers to Final Report of the ISP round 2 project number 085,
which has the name "COASTAL UPWELLING ALONG THE WESTERN AMERICAS: PAST,
PRESENT, AND FUTURE". Variability in ocean-atmosphere circulation over the
California and Peru/Humboldt currents has major repercussions on both climate
over adjacent continents and the sustainable level of fisheries from these
productive waters. This project set the stage for such reconstructions with
a two-year program monitoring the composition of coastal water in collaboration
with researchers at six institutions. To find information about this project,
as well as its results, see the Final Report.
