资源简介:
Weathered granite soils are widely distributed across China’s subtropical regions and serve as critical components of agricultural and ecological systems. Their unique formation processes, driven by intense hydrothermal weathering, result in distinct physical and chemical properties that influence soil structure, fertility, and environmental behavior. Understanding the basic characteristics of these soils is essential for evaluating their suitability for land use, as well as for guiding soil conservation and sustainable management practices. This study investigates the fundamental physical and chemical properties of weathered granite soils in representative subtropical areas of China. Key indicators such as soil texture, bulk density, porosity, pH, organic matter content, and nutrient availability are analyzed to reveal the inherent features of these soils. In addition, we assess their mechanical behavior, including shear strength and compressibility, alongside their water-holding capacity and resistance to erosion under varying environmental conditions.By linking basic soil attributes with functional properties, this research provides insights into the mechanisms that control soil stability and productivity in granite-derived landscapes. The findings have significant implications for soil and water conservation, ecological restoration, and the development of region-specific land management strategies in subtropical China.
