VEGF and IL-10 have been shown to play an inhibitory role on CD4+ T cells. Here we investigate the transcriptional expression changes in CD4+ T cells in response to IL-10 and VEGF treatment. The influence of these substances was investigated either immediately after T cell isolation or after previous short-time cultures. Overall design: Freshly isolated CD4+ T cells were treated either immediately after isolation or after 12 hrs of cell culture with the indicated conditions.
