Development of metagenomics in the microbiological diagnostic field has to be documented on the capacities and needs of each center. We set up a study on BAL fluids from patients with severe pneumonia lying in ICU, either immunosuppressed or immunocompetent to investigate 16S rRNA and ITS1 added values compared to standard of care.
