Abstract We present a dataset of synthesis parameters and morphological dimensions for mullite whiskers (3Al2O3 ·2SiO2). The data consists of 450 experimental records collected from a series of molten salt synthesis trials. These records document the influence of sintering temperature, MoO3 additive levels, and holding time on whisker growth. To expand this collection, we used a generative model to produce 300,000 synthetic samples that follow physical laws, such as geometric and thermodynamic constraints. For each sample, we measured the length, width, and aspect ratio using image analysis of electron microscopy data. The information is standardized to ensure it is ready for computational analysis. This dataset is intended for researchers to train machine learning models, investigate growth kinetics, or guide the design of high-performance ceramic composites. It provides a bridge between experimental process parameters and the resulting crystal morphology.
