The main goal of our project was to analyse a low diversity ESBL Klebsiella pneumoniae population in University Hospital Brno. We analysed over 1100 ESBL K. pneumoniae isolates using mini-MLST to determine MelT. For WGS we chose 24 isolates from 4 predominant MelTs. We also performed WGS for 22 pair isolates (blood culture/rectal swab) to determine cut-off values for SNV.
