Effect of global Caspase-1 (Casp1) knockout (KO) on kidney gene expression in an orthologous mouse model of polycystic kidney disease (PKD)

We examined the effects of global Caspase-1 KO on kidney gene expression in an orthologous mouse model of PKD, which carries a homozygous knockin missense mutation, Pkd1RC/RC , that matches a human disease allele, PKD1 p.R3277C ("RC").本研究在多囊肾病（Polycystic Kidney Disease, PKD）同源小鼠模型中探究了全身性半胱天冬酶-1（Caspase-1）敲除对肾脏基因表达的影响；该模型携带纯合敲入错义突变Pkd1^RC/RC，其对应人类疾病等位基因PKD1 p.R3277C（简称"RC"）。
