Bisulfite Sequencing Data of Glial progenitors and Sox1 positive Glial progenitors

With this study we aimed to investigate differences in DNA Methylation at the Promoter of Sox1 before and after activation of the gene. To that end, we derived neural progenitors from heterozygous Sox1-GFP ES cells, and used dCas9-VP64 to activate the endogenous copy of Sox1. We then sorted GFP positive and negative cells and performed Bisulfite sequencing. In addition, we performed Bisulfite sequencing on unsorted cells, with additional Dnmt-Inhibitor treatment or dCas9-Tet1 targeting.
