This research examines physics ideas in the Jong boat cultural event and how cultural literacy affects them. This research used qualitative (interviews, observations, and literature studies) and quantitative methods (surveys). Cultural literacy and physics concept literacy were measured using quantitative descriptive and inferential techniques, whereas Jong boat physics ideas were analyzed qualitatively. The study population consisted of 6 schools in Rupat Island, identified 6 Jong boat cultural festival-related physics concepts: Newton's Law, Waves, Equilibrium, Rigid Bodies, Pressure, Static Fluid, and Dynamic Fluid. This shows that mainland students' physics literacy is very low and coastal kids' low. Inferential analysis shows that school location substantially impacts students' cultural and physics concept literacy (p < 0.001 and 0.000, respectively). Cultural literacy contributed 0.266 to physics literacy, indicating a positive association. School location affects students' cultural and cultural literacy have a relationship with students' physics concept literacy skills.
