Impact of Preoperative Waiting Time on Postoperative Length of Stay After Hip Fracture Surgery: A Multicenter Cohort Study

This dataset contains anonymized patient-level data used in a multicenter retrospective cohort study investigating the association between preoperative waiting time and postoperative length of stay (LOS) in patients undergoing hip fracture surgery. The dataset includes patients who underwent open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) or hemiarthroplasty. Variables include demographic characteristics, clinical factors, preoperative waiting time categories, and postoperative LOS. All data were extracted from a nationwide administrative database in Japan and anonymized prior to analysis. The dataset supports the findings reported in the associated manuscript submitted to the International Journal of Surgery.
