There is little known about symbiotic Vibrio spp., that are not parasitic to their marine host. Therefore there is a need to understand the ecological roles of non-pathogenic Vibrio to their host. This draft genome gives potential insight into the beneficial roles of an abundant Vibrio sp. found in associated with a marine sea slug.
