The Study "Continuous timely monitoring of core temperature with two wearable devices in pediatric patients undergoing chemotherapy for cancer - a comparison study" (NCT04914702) recruited patients from September 2021 to March 2022 in two Swiss university-based pediatric hematology/oncology centers: Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Department of Pediatrics, Inselspital, Bern University Hospital, University of Bern, Switzerland and the Department of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology, University Children's Hospital Basel (UKBB), University of Basel, Switzerland.Two different wearable devices (WDs), the CORE® and the Everion®, recorded several vital signs, calculated scores and quality scores. The CORE® recorded core temperature and a corresponding quality score on 4945 of 6720 study hours in 18 of 20 participating patients. The Everion® recorded 18 vital signs and calculated scores, plus six quality scores on 5360 hours in 19 of 20 participating patients. The study period was 14 days for each patient.In addition, non-WD data like side effects, user-friendliness, preference of the different WDs, reasons not to wear a WD, patient and parent satisfaction, effort for the investigators and discrete measurements was collected.Eighteen files, one per patient, contain the WD data of the CORE®. A Readme file for the Core® data explains all the variables.Nineteen files, one per patient, contain the WD data of the Everion®. A Readme file for the Everion® data explains all the variables.One file contains all the non-WD data of all 20 patients on study administration, follow-up and outcomes of the daily CRFs. Another Readme file explains all the variables.One additional file contains the R-script used to download and transform the WD data.
