Plant root-associated microbiome Metagenome

This project investigates the bacterial communities associated with plant roots using 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing. Root microbiome samples were collected from Lotus japonicus plants grown in different soil origins and plant host genotypes to examine how host genetic background and soil microbial communities shape root-associated bacterial assemblages.
