This dataset contains the reproducible river-flood hazard and direct-damage assessment workflow developed for five ClimEmpower case-study regions: Central Greece, Sicily, Osijek-Baranja County in Croatia, Costa del Sol and Troodos. The workflow is an adaptation of the tested CLIMAAX river-flood risk-assessment Jupyter notebooks and combines JRC/CEMS flood-depth maps, LUISA land-use data, JRC depth-damage functions and the DamageScanner model. The package includes Python scripts, regional boundary data, vulnerability and damage-curve inputs, styling files, and resulting hazard and damage GeoTIFFs for 10-, 100- and 500-year return periods. Hazard outputs represent flood depth in metres, while damage outputs represent estimated direct economic loss in euros per raster cell. The accompanying methodology document describes the workflow inputs, calculation steps, outputs and principal assumptions, including the regional GDP-per-capita estimates and corresponding NUTS regions used for economic scaling. Only present-condition flood maps are used. The results are intended for regional screening and comparison and do not represent expected annual damage or indirect socioeconomic losses.
