Data for: Copy-Number Expansion and Divergent Selection Regimes in the Melanin Biosynthesis Pathway of Macrophomina phaseolina: Implications for Spaceflight Pathogen Risk Screening
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains genome accession lists, gene copy-number data, phylogenetic trees, and selection-analysis outputs supporting a comparative genomic study of stress-tolerance gene evolution in Macrophomina phaseolina, a major crop pathogen, benchmarked against functionally-validated radiotolerant fungi, real ISS-isolated fungal genomes, and comparator pathogens (231 genomes total, five tiers). Contents include:- Genome accession lists by tier (genome_lists/)- Gene presence and copy-number data from tblastn homology screening across seven stress-tolerance genes spanning melanin biosynthesis, DNA-repair, heat-shock, and desiccation-tolerance pathways (h1_data/)- A maximum-likelihood phylogenomic tree built from 100 concatenated single-copy marker genes (species_tree/)- Codon-aware alignments, gene trees, and HyPhy selection-analysis results (BUSTED, RELAX, aBSREL) for each gene family, including branch-specific tests restricted to M. phaseolina lineages (h2_selection/)- Manuscript figures (figures/) Analyses were performed using BLAST+, MAFFT, IQ-TREE 2, HyPhy 2.5, compleasm, and miniprot. Full methodological details are provided in the associated manuscript.
