资源简介：
The National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) is responsible for coordinating interagency efforts to combat wildfires and implement strategies for fire suppression and prevention in the U.S. It collects and stores a wide range of wildfire-related data (Parker et al. 2021) including information on burned areas, fire counts (Balch et al., 2020; Son. et al., 2022), and other related spatial data. These data along with coordination efforts help inform strategies for fire suppression, prevention, and mitigation. Additional resources, such as WFIGS, MODIS, InciWeb, and others, are also available from NIFC Open Data Site that offer more data and information to help manage and reduce the impact of wildfires on community welfare.
