This is a collaborative study between two institutes: the National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering(NIBGE) ,Faisalabad, Pakistan, and the Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh. The study includes four haplotype resolved HiFi genome assemblies of two Pakistani water buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) breeds, Nili Ravi and Azikheli.
