Effect of depletion of CNOT4 on gene transcription in human cells.

Codon usage bias of an organism has been reported to affect the level of gene expression by influencing this process at multiple steps. Here, we have identified a role of a subunit of CCR4-NOT complex, CNOT4, in the transcriptional regulation of genes in a codon usage dependent manner. Overall design: RNA-seq analysis of nuclear run-on BrU-IP and input RNA samples from control and CNOT4 depleted HEK293 cells. Two biological replicates were used.
