Metagenomic analysis of soil microbial responses to three heterocyclic agrochemicals

This study evaluates the impact of three heterocyclic compounds: cefapirin, pyrimethanil, and quinclorac - on soil microbial communities using shotgun metagenomics. Samples were collected at 15 and 30 days post-treatment with four replicates per group. DNA was extracted and sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq platform. The data reveal time-dependent shifts in microbial composition, resistance genes, and functional pathways, offering insights into ecological risks and microbial responses to agrochemical exposure.
