Supplementary Materials for the Manuscript: Replication Studies in Applied Linguistics Journals (2010–2024): A Corpus-Based Analysis

This document provides the complete supplementary materials for the manuscript “Replication Studies in Applied Linguistics Journals (2010–2024): A Corpus-Based Analysis.” The materials are organized into three sections to support transparency, reproducibility, and independent verification of the coding procedures and analytical dataset reported in the manuscript. Supplementary Material A presents the coding guide (codebook) that operationalizes each analytical category, defines admissible values, and specifies decision rules for ambiguous cases. This guide was used by both coders to ensure consistency in classification. Supplementary Material B provides the standardized analytical dataset containing all 47 self-labeled replication studies. Each study is represented by a unique abbreviated identifier and coded according to the categories described in the coding guide and reported in Tables 1–8 of the manuscript. Supplementary Material C lists the full APA-formatted references for all 47 studies. All frequencies, percentages, and distributions reported in the manuscript are derived directly from this dataset.
