A high tumor mutation was associated with a poor outcome of immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy for advanced NSCLC as a result of immunosuppressive phenotypes. We retrospectively reviewed advanced NSCLC patients and evaluated the association between tumor burden and immune-related gene expression profiling.
