3The best-fit parameters for the asexual and gametocyte components of our mechanistic model are shown for those parameters that have been modified from their original values [23], [24]. All other model parameters not provided above remain equal to their values in [23], [24]. ‘Fitted to case history’ indicates that the model was run with this parameter as a free parameter and the best-fit value was chosen after fitting outputs to the case history of an individual treated using malaria therapy.
