Appendix S1.pdf lists and explains the problems encountered in InsectChange for each study. Appendix S2.pdf summarises the inclusion of freshwater noninsects in the InsectChange assemblages. Appendix S3.pdf describes the InsectChange-included datasets specifically designed to study particular factors of insect change and highlights the factor-induced situations that favour an increase or decrease in insects.
