资源简介:
This study examines the effectiveness of interactive listening practices in improving English language comprehension and engagement among intermediate-level university learners. Traditional listening instruction often emphasizes passive approaches, limiting learners’ critical processing and participation. A four-week intervention implemented interactive listening activities, including pre-listening discussions, while-listening tasks, role-plays, and collaborative summaries. Data were collected through comprehension tests, observation checklists, and self-assessment surveys. Results indicate that interactive listening significantly enhances listening comprehension, learner engagement, and communicative competence, while fostering autonomy and motivation. The study provides empirical support for integrating interactive listening strategies into higher education English curricula, contributing to academic success and learner confidence.
