VPRS 16667 General Plan Registers

The series was used to maintain the summary details of the plans and probably to control the allocation of plan numbers.The first two volumes record the separate plan registration numbers for the Survey Branch and the Hydrographic Section. The rest of the volumes record a singe system of plan registration numbers.The content varies over time but the type of information you can find in the registers includes: Date of Entry; Serial Number (plan); File Index (e.g. A1, A3, B1); Region; Drawn on; Drawing Number; Sheet Number; Scale; Title; Drawn (by); Negatives; Prints; Microfilm; Issued to; Original Issue Date; Returned; Remarks.
