SOURCES AND METHODS OF EMERGENCE OF NEOLOGISMS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the sources and methods of the emergence of neologisms in the English and Uzbek languages. It examines the semantic, phonetic, morphological, etymological and cultural-historical bases of neologisms, as well as the processes of borrowing, semantic extension and the transition of proper names into common nouns. The formation of new lexical units under the influence of globalization, socio-economic factors and technological progress is highlighted. Using examples from English and Uzbek, the article demonstrates how neologisms become established in the language system, enrich the vocabulary and are directly linked to the development of society.
