Postnatal Reprogramming of Human Intestinal Epithelium

This repository contains processed single-cell and spatial transcriptomics datasets generated as part of a comprehensive study of human intestinal development. The data include Seurat RDS objects for:
(i) MERSCOPE spatial transcriptomics data, and
(ii) epithelial Seurat objects from colon and ileum single-cell multi-omics datasets.

The underlying study profiles human intestinal tissues across fetal, neonatal and pediatric stages, integrating single-cell RNA expression and chromatin accessibility with high-resolution spatial transcriptomics. Across >200,000 single cells and >1 million spatially resolved cells, the dataset captures epithelial, immune and stromal compartments and defines age-specific cellular states, regulatory programs and spatial organization of the developing gut .

These RDS objects contain cell embeddings, cell type annotations and sample meta data stored in the @meta.data slot.

Multiome data also contains "peaks" assay, which stores ATAC part of the dataset.
