资源简介:
We report on the early pathological development of a well-established murine model of aortic dissection / abdominal aortic aneurysm. Overall design: Suprarenal aorta and aneurysm tissues were harvested and total RNA extracted for pooling into one of three treatment cohorts. The total number of reads per library were between 35 and 43 million. Differentially expressed genes were found among cohorts of apolipoprotein E-deficient mice infused transiently with angiotensin II (treatment) or saline (control). Angiotensin II-infused mice were either sacrificed within 24 hours of identification of a dissecting abdominal aortic aneurysm or, if no aneurysmal lesion was found, by day 10 after the implantation of pumps infusing angiotensin II.
