Microglia, brain-resident macrophages, have been proposed to play an active role in synaptic refinement and maturation, influencing plasticity and circuit-level connectivity. Using a genetically modified mouse which lacks microglia (Csf1r deltaFIRE/deltaFIRE), we investigate the effect on gene expression of the presence or absence of microglia in the developing mouse brain.
小胶质细胞(microglia)作为脑内常驻巨噬细胞,被认为可在突触重塑与成熟过程中发挥活跃作用,并可影响神经可塑性及环路级连接。本研究利用缺失小胶质细胞的基因工程改造小鼠(Csf1r deltaFIRE/deltaFIRE),探究发育中小鼠脑内小胶质细胞的存在与否对基因表达的影响。
