Observations of naturally occurring lightning with an event-based vision sensor

Files contain data on lightning captured by an event-based vision sensor in Werrington, New South Wales, Australia, on 24th January 2023. Each separate file was used to create figures in the paper entitled "Observations of Naturally Occurring Lightning with Event-Based Vision Sensors" submitted to the Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres in February 2024. For example, the file titled "Figure 3" corresponds to the data file used to create Figure 3 in the paper. Variables: t = timestamp (in microseconds) x and y = location of the activated pixel on the pixel plane is_increase = indicates whether the event is an "on" event (=1) or an "off" event (=0) NOTE: data was collected using a Prophesee Gen4 event-based vision sensor with 1280 x 720 pixels
