RNA-seq data

This dataset contains RNA-seq data generated for the study “TMS5-Mediated R-loop Dynamics Regulate Thermosensitive Fertility Conversion in Rice.” We profiled transcriptomes from Oryza sativa ssp. japonica wild-type Zhonghua11 (ZH11) and a CRISPR/Cas9-generated loss-of-function tms5 mutant grown under different temperature conditions, to investigate temperature-dependent anther developmental defects and fertility conversion. Total RNA was extracted from rice anther tissues, and RNA-seq was performed with three biological replicates per condition. The RNA-seq data were used to identify differentially expressed genes and affected biological processes in tms5 (including transcriptional regulatory programs associated with tapetum function), and to support downstream validation by RT-qPCR and cytological analyses.
