Canadian Gallup Poll, September 1985, #501_2

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on issues involving PetroCan and South Africa. The questions ask opinions about PetroCan owning service stations in the Gulf and the privitazation of the company. There are also questions on South Africa's racial policies and how Canada should intervene. The respondents were also asked about Canada's problems, as well as questions so that they could be grouped according to geographical variables. Topics of interest include: the approval of PetroCan owning Gulf service stations; Canadian interference in South Africa; the most important problem in Canada; privatizing PetroCan; and South Africa's racial policies. Basic demographic variables are also included.
