资源简介:
Acne represents a dermatologic pathology that is present among a large percentage of the population worldwide and can have a large negative impact on the life of the patient. A tool to categorize patients’ risk for acne scarring created in 2017 by Tan et al. (4-ASRAT) and a pilot study for the evaluation, modification, and application of the tool in an Ecuadorian population was assessed in 2020. We collected data to validate the 4-ASRAT tool modified for risk factors specific to the Ecuadorian population to detect acne scarring risk in Ecuadorians. The dataset consisted of a set of patient pictures for 404 participants and the questionnaire data that each participant responded to. For confidentiality reasons, the participant pictures cannot be shared in Harvard Dataverse. However, we share the quantitative data derived from the photos, as well as the self administered questionnaire data.
