This dataset supports the article "Oscillatory Multi-Timescale Mechanisms Underlying Audiovisual Sequence Prediction" published in Imaging Neuroscience. It contains MEG data recorded from human participants performing an audiovisual serial prediction task. In this task, participants learned stimulus sequences and monitored whether subsequent probe items followed or violated the expected sequence. Analysis demonstrated both task-related changes in oscillatory power and coupling, either within or cross frequencies. And behavior performance varied as a function of the phase delay of the coupling. This dataset provides valuable insight into the multi-timescale neural dynamics underlying multisensory sequence prediction.
