In-depth traffic accident investigation data is collected via on-site investigations adopting scientific and systematic methods, which gather information related to road environment, road traffic behavior, vehicle damage and personnel injuries of actual traffic accidents occurring on Chinese roads, aiming to explore the mechanisms of vehicle damage and human injuries in collision accidents. Currently, over 10,000 in-depth investigated accident cases have been accumulated. Each single case contains more than 3,000 fields composed of multi-dimensional information covering people, vehicles, roads and the environment.
