Haplotype-resolved genome assembly of the leading cultivar of jujube (<i>Ziziphus jujuba </i>Mill. ‘Huizao’)
收藏资源简介:
Jujube (<i>Ziziphus jujuba</i> Mill.) is an important fruit tree mainly planted in arid and semi-arid regions, but its genomic resources for haplotype resolution are still limited. In this study, we used PacBio HiFi long-read sequencing and Hi-C data to generate high-quality, haplotype-resolved genome assembly of the main jujube variety 'Huizao'. Genome annotation identified protein-coding genes in two haplotypes, and comparative analysis revealed large-scale structural variation and allele differences between them. This assembly of chromosome-level haplotype isolation fills the gap in the genomic resources of 'Pyrophylla' jujube and provides a valuable foundation for allele perception research, comparative genomics, molecular breeding and genetic diversity research of jujube.
