Plug-in grant eligible cars registered monthly in the UK 2014-2018

This statistic shows the number of monthly registrations of plug-in grant eligible cars in the United Kingdom (UK) between January 2014 and September 2018. Cars which are eligible for government grants are electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Since the beginning of the plug-in car grants in January 2011, there has been a total of 63,100 eligible cars registered in the UK.In March 2018, a peak of 8,413 plug-in grant eligible cars were registered in the UK. Almost 13 percent more than in March 2017.
