RNAseq analysis of two PWS mouse model brains

We report the RNAseq analysis of transcription in the brains of two mouse models for PWS. PWScr and and PWS-IC mice have overlapping and and distinct changes in gene expression and isoform usage. The increased number of changes seen in PWS-IC brain are enriched for genetic variants associated with psychotic illness. Examination of whole brain at P0 in PWScr mice and their wildtype littermates, and PWS-IC mice and their littermates本研究针对两种普拉德-威利综合征（Prader-Willi Syndrome, PWS）小鼠模型的脑组织转录组开展RNA测序（RNAseq）分析。PWScr与PWS-IC两种小鼠在基因表达及剪接异构体使用上存在重叠与特异性差异。PWS-IC小鼠脑组织中观测到的表达变化数量更多，且显著富集于与精神疾病相关的遗传变异。本研究对出生后0天（P0）的PWScr小鼠及其野生型同窝仔鼠、PWS-IC小鼠及其同窝仔鼠的全脑组织进行了检测。
