Highly-, moderately-, and lowly-abundant bird species richness and abundance and some of their potential drivers in Medellín (Colombia)

Here, we present the bird species richness and abundance of highly-, moderately-, and lowly-abundant bird species based on a survey perfomed in Medellín and surrounding municipalities, northern Andes of Colombia. We sampled birds in 212 point-counts under a city-wide survey approach. We provide the species richness and abundance of each abundance-based bird group for sampling point, including metadata for variables short description and abreviation. Each individual set of variables that we used for data analysis (i.e., species richness and abundances for each abundance-based group) and metadata are provided in separate sheets of the same file (see "data.xls").
