This dataset includes 4 real-world datasets and 1 synthetic dataset. The datasets from New York, Hangzhou, Jinan, and the synthetic dataset are sourced from the open-source data at https://github.com/wingsweihua/colight/data. The Hefei dataset was collected from the iFLYTEK Traffic Brain System in Hefei, and it was gathered on April 30, 2021, using a Python 3.8 program running on a Windows 10 operating system. Each dataset contains road network and traffic flow data. Details of each dataset are as follows: - The New York dataset comprises 196 intersections and 11,059 vehicle passing records; - The Hangzhou dataset comprises 16 intersections and 2,984 vehicle passing records; - The Jinan dataset comprises 12 intersections and 6,296 vehicle passing records; - The Hefei dataset comprises 11 intersections and 24,677 vehicle passing records; - The synthetic dataset includes 36 intersections, with two separate traffic flow datasets (unidirectional and bidirectional). The unidirectional traffic flow dataset delivers 12 vehicles to the road network from the west and south directions every 12 simulator seconds, while the bidirectional traffic flow dataset delivers 24 vehicles to the road network from the four cardinal directions (east, south, west and north) every 12 simulator seconds. · Data Content: Urban Traffic Signal Control Dataset · Collection Method: Vehicle passing information is recorded via road bayonet cameras and monitoring cameras · Initial Collection Locations: Hangzhou, Jinan, New York, and Hefei · Initial Public Release Time: The Hangzhou, Jinan and New York datasets were released in May 2019; the Hefei dataset was released in April 2021 · Derived Data Processing Location: Sun Yat-sen University · Derived Data Processing Time: September 2021
