Mercury is a toxic heavy metal and capable of being bioremediated by microorganisms. In this study we sequenced environmental DNA samples extracted from different host (endophytic and rhizosphere) hosts (Aeschynomene fluminensis and Polygonum acuminatum) that grow naturally in contaminated (+ Hg) and uncontaminated (-Hg) sites through high sequencing performance.
