Biological, molecular, and genetic interactions involved in the functional integration of Triatoma pallidipennis and its gut microbiota.

This project aims to provide a comprehensive study of intestinal microorganisms, focusing on their population dynamics, functional roles, and metabolic, genetic, and molecular interactions. In parallel, the intestine, along with its compartments and components, will be examined in terms of their interactions with, and responses to, population changes in other microorganisms, including T. cruzi, as integral elements of the microbial environment.
