Comparative Transcriptome Analysis of lncRNAs and mRNAs associated with different coat colours in Pashmina fiber

Introduction: Identification of genes (mRNA + lncNRA) that regualte coat colouring and pigmentation in pashmina goat. Overall design: 6 pashmina goats of the same age (26 months) and sex (doves) from each colour group viz grey, white and black were selected for sampling from the SKUAST-Kashmir goat farm located in the northern Himalayas (Satakna, Ladakh) at an altitude of 12000 feet above sea level.
