Ganxi Goats have the characteristics of being able to withstand rough feeding, strong resistance, and excellent meat quality, and they are excellent local breeds in China. We utilized PacBio single-molecule long-read sequencing technology to profile the entire transcriptome of Ganxi goats. We obtained 660,931 reads of insert and 565,763 full-length non-chimeric (FLNC) reads. This study involved SMRT sequencing of the full-length transcriptome of Ganxi goats, and the results have the potential to enhance genetic data exploration and improve the annotation of the goat genome.
