Appendix Dataset: Mapping Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and WWDC Sessions to UX Design Principles
收藏资源简介:
This dataset serves as the appendix for a thesis analyzing Apple's design ecosystem, focusing on the Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and WWDC sessions. The data maps various design elements and developer sessions to four core UX design principles: Consistency, Feedback, Affordance, and Information Architecture (IA). The dataset consists of two main tables: 1. HIG Analysis (Dataset_1_HIG_Analysis.csv) Evaluates 149 elements from Apple's Human Interface Guidelines. Tracks platform support across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS. Maps each element to the four core UX principles. Contains 60 'Included' elements used for the final analysis and 89 'Excluded' elements. 2. WWDC Analysis (Dataset_2_WWDC_Sessions.csv) Analyzes 297 Apple WWDC sessions (focusing on recent years, including spatial computing and visionOS updates). Maps each session to the relevant UX design principles. Contains 76 'Included' sessions used for the final analysis and 221 'Excluded' sessions. This dataset provides a structured overview of how Apple integrates fundamental UX principles across its multi-device ecosystem, providing valuable quantitative data for UI/UX research and platform analysis.
