Human (healthy control and CRC donors) fecal microbiota transfer (FMT) to germ-free mice.

We performed human fecal microbiota transfer (FMT) to germ-free mice utilizing material from CRC patients (n=9) and normal colonoscopy individuals (n=9).In addition, mice received either azoxymethane (AOM), a chemical carcinogenic agent, or saline solution for 10 weeks. Samples from donors (n=18) constituted baseline (T0), mice fecal samples (n=44) harvested 3 wks (T3) and 14 wks (T14) after FMT. Fecal DNA was extracted according to INRA proitocol (see material and methods), V3-V4 ilets from 16sRNA were amplified. Then, the amplicons were submitted to 454 Roche sequencing technics. Raw data from donors (n=12) having been used for 14 wks animal experiments as well as mice samples are available and can be provided here.
