Mt Laura Conservation Reserve Preservation

To implement activities to protect and enhance local habitats and plant communities contained within the domain of the Mt Laura Conservation Reserve. The Green Army Participants will learn methods of identification of native flora and fauna of significance, and how to implement activities to protect and enhance the value of those communities. In addition, strategies for weed control, direct seeding, replanting vegetated corridors, surveying of existing plant and fauna communities and disturbances both new and old to local habitat will be undertaken. The Green Army Participants will learn the value of protecting the natural environment and minimising man made disturbances and how to implement remedies to remove those disturbances.
