Marine Metabarcoding of HARS region of the New York Bight

Samples taken from the Historic Area Remediation Site (HARS) region of the New York Bight to determine the marine species using the HARS for a habitat. Seven primers were used to target various organisms including marine mammals, sharks and rays, bony fishes, and invertebrates. Water samples were taken from various benthic habitat types both within the HARS and from surrounding areas.
