Four cultivars of soybean, namely Hoseo, PI86490, KLS88035, and Soheung-2, were grown in greenhouses to analyze the expression of the GmKIX gene during seed development. To analyze the RNA expression levels during seed development, the process was divided into three stages.Paired-end RNA-seq reads were generated on the Illumina Genome Analyzer platform, and the quality of the trimmed reads was assessed using FastQC.
