Multi-study analysis of five EEG studies on the subjective experience and neural preparation of intended movement

We performed a multi-study analysis of five published EEG experiments on intended action. We show that Readiness Potentials reflect action expectation, not performance. We show that intention experience correlates with Readiness Potential strength. Variations in intention reports reflect differences in Readiness Potential tuning. As such, Readiness Potentials can be crucial ingredients for intention reports.

The data includes EEG recordings, action onset times (button presses) and intention reports (timing of experienced intention relative to the action). More information about this dataset can be found in the about.txt file in the main folder.
